Delta Gamma Alumni,
The Beta Chapter of Delta Gamma at the University
of Washington is proud to present Anchor Splash® 2006
benefiting Service for Sight and Aid to the Blind. Established
on February 19, 1966 by the Beta Tau Chapter at the University
of Miami, Anchor Splash is the most popular event of Delta Gamma
chapters.
As this year’s Anchor Splash Directors we are writing
to you because we feel that Anchor Splash is lacking one of
the key components to a successful philanthropy- Alumni. Anchor
Splash is currently the biggest and most anticipated philanthropic
event in the Greek System and the third largest Anchor Splash
nationwide. Last year, Beta Chapter fundraised over $23,000
for Service for Sight and Aid to the Blind. Of course our goal
every year is to make it “the best Anchor Splash ever”
but we truly feel we will never achieve that goal without reaching
out to our Alumni for support. With
that said, we ask for you your help to assist us in continuing
our long lived tradition of going above and beyond expectation.
Any kind of assistance would help, whether it be any amount
of financial donation (checks can be made out to Delta Gamma),
a donation of prizes (such as electronics, gift certificates,
clothing, sports gear, etc), or even just passing on this
email to any business or sponsor you think may be able to
help. We provide advertising incentives such as vocal recognition
on skit day, logos in our brochures, and a logo on our shirts
(sold to over 1,000 people).We are working very hard to make
this the best Anchor Splash to date, and your DG support would
help us immensely.
